2024's album release slate spans across many genres and styles of music, with some huge names making a comeback, and some upcoming artists releasing their first project.

Last year saw the release of some massive albums, including Drake's 'For All The Dogs', Nicki Minaj's 'Pink Friday 2' and Travis Scott's 'Utopia', and this year is looking promising in terms of new releases.

From SZA's deluxe edition of SOS titled 'Lana', to rising star Tyla's debut album, here are all the Hip Hop and R&B albums being released in 2024.

1. January 2024

   

   (January 5) French Montana - "Mac & Cheese 5"

   • The final chapter of the rapper's Mac & Cheese series.
   • Lead single is called 'Okay' featuring Lil Baby.

2. February 2024

   

   (Feb 11) Usher: Coming Home

   • Right off the back of headlining the Super Bowl halftime show, Usher will be treating fans with a new album.
   • The follow up to 2016’s ‘Hard II Love', it will be Usher's first project in eight years.
   • Likely to feature his single 'Good Good' featuring Summer Walker.

3. March 2024

   

   • Up and coming songstress Tyla is set to release her self-titled debut album on March 1 of 2024.
   • Tyla has already released recent singles 'Water' and 'Girl Next Door' with Ayra Starr, so it is likely that these songs will feature on the album
   • Additionally, Tyla has released 'Truth or Dare', a track called 'On & On' and a song titled 'Butterflies'.
