Following rumours earlier this week, the singer has announced that she is expecting a daughter with her personal trainer boyfriend Alex Fine.

The 32-year-old singer, who split with long-term partner Diddy back in October last year, confirmed the rumours with a sweet Instagram post dedicated to her partner.
Cassie also confirmed that the couple are expecting a daughter. "Can’t wait to meet our baby girl," she wrote alongside some images of her and Alex. "Love You Always & Forever."
Alex soon jumped in the comments, reciprocating the love for his girlfriend and soon-to-be-born daughter. "Love both of you to the moon and back millions of times," he wrote.
Hoards of fans and celebrities flooded the post with congratulations. Khloe Kardashian wrote, "Congratulations Cass!!!! You’re going to be the best mommy!!!!" while Naomi Campbell said, "YES !! PROUD OF YOU SIS."
Following Cassie's announcement, Alex took to his own Instagram to post a couple of heartwarming letters - one to Cassie, and one to his unborn daughter.
Rumours of Cassie expecting her first child with 25-year-old Fine, who began dating Cassie shortly after her break-up with Diddy, surfaced earlier this week.
Diddy and Cassie dated for over ten years before announcing their split back in October 2018. Diddy dedicated Michael Jackson’s 'The Lady in My Life' to his ex-girlferiend in an Instagram post shortly after the announcement.
Cassie later reached out to Diddy paying tribute to the music mogul's ex Kim Porter, who passed away from pneumonia in November 2018.
