Cardi B could possibly face harsher charges in the strip club assault case involving Tekashi 6ix9ine's girlfriend Jade. Prosecutors reveal they aim to take the case to the grand jury.
The "Money" rapper stands accused of ordering an attack on two bartenders at Flushing strip club in Queens. The alleged ordeal took place back in August 2018. The alleged victims were sisters Baddie Gi and 6ix9ine's current girlfriend Jade.
The two alleged victims claim they received threats from Cardi after she accused Jade of sleeping with her husband, who is apart of the Migos, Offset. Tekashi 6ix9ine's girlfriend Jade claimed that she repeatedly denied the affair.
Police have revealed that Cardi B and her crew got into a physical altercation with the sisters at the strip club. The scene was allegedly destroyed with chairs, bottles, and hookah pipes which were allegedly thrown at the complainants.
The two alleged victims claim they have slight injuries.
The Bronx rapper was arrested on misdemeanor assault and reckless endangerment charges. The star rejected a plea deal in mid-April, after her attorneys claimed that the star did not harm anyone during the incident.
During the court proceeding, prosectors revealed the case will be presented to a grand jury, which means Cardi's charges could potentially be upscaled.
According to TMZ, the state attorneys made the decision "after further investigation" but did not reveal details of what they found.
