While there was some criticism of Travis Scott over the apparent removal of transgender model Amanda Lepore, the internet has also realised the meme-ing potential of the already iconic album cover.

People on the internet have been hard at work mocking up different versions of the Astroworld album cover and Travis' wide open mouth on the cover has been compared to scenes from SpongeBob, Temple Run, and everything in between.

Meanwhile, Travis' golden Astroworld head was reportedly spotted going down the Thames in London on Friday Aug 3.

Beyond the album's cover, Travis Scott appears to make reference to girlfriend Kylie Jenner on "Stargazing", rapping “I was always high up on the lean (yeah, yeah)/Then this girl came here to save my life/Look up to the sky, down on my knees (straight up)/Out of nowhere, you came here to stay the night."
