In the lyrics to his new song 'Lost In The Fire', The Weeknd appears sneak-diss his 'Crew Love' collaborator over his secret son, Adonis.

As fans eagerly anticipate a new album from The Weeknd, the Canadian hitmaker is keeping them satisfied with his new feature on Gesaffelstein's 'Lost In The Fire'.

The new track, produced by the aforementioned French DJ, sees The Weeknd - real name Abel Tesfaye - seductively croon over a slick, electronic track in his typical sultry style.

Fans soon began dissecting the lyrics, and picked up on one line in particular which appears to throw shots at the singer's former collaborator and fellow Canadian, Drake.

The pair, who were long-rumoured to be planning a joint album under the joint moniker 'OVOXO', are allegedly no longer friends following months of alleged feuding over Abel's current girlfriend Bella Hadid.

The couple temporarily split last year, before Drake allegedly tried to hook up with Bella. Drizzy later referenced Bella, and her sister Gigi, on his recent album 'Scorpion' which dropped after Abel and Bella got back together.

In the first verse of 'Lost In The Fire', The Weeknd appears to take a dig at Drake for famously keeping his son Adonis a secret, until Pusha T famously exposed him.

"And I just want a baby with the right one / 'Cause I could never be the one to hide one," he says. It wasn't long before fans took to Twitter to discuss the obvious diss.

Drizzy is yet to respond to the diss. Meanwhile, The Weeknd is currently working on his fourth studio album, a follow-up to 2016's chart-topping 'Starboy.'
