Here’s Why Drake & The Weeknd Are Reportedly Beefing Over Bella Hadid

Drake and The Weeknd are allegedly at loggerheads over supermodel Bella Hadid.
According to Page Six, tension has been brewing between the close friends and frequent collaborators since rumours of Drake romancing the 'Starboy' singer's ex surfaced earlier this month.
The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, ended his 18-month relationship with the 21-year-old model in November last year.
But sources claim that the recent speculation around Bella and Drizzy is putting a great deal of strain on the Toronto hitmakers' friendship.
"They both hang in the same Toronto crew and now they’re having to pick sides," and insider said.
"The Weeknd performed and people on Drake’s side were like, ‘I can’t show up to that . . . Got to have allegiance,’"
"They aren’t getting along right now . . . The groups are beefing because [Drake] broke the bro code."
The source also claims that Drake and Bella "100 percent hooked up" following reports of the 'Passionfruit' rapper throwing her a huge 21st birthday party this month.
The pair were first linked back in June after being spotted leaving an LA nightclub together after a long night of partying.
The Weeknd is currently dating fellow chart-topper Selena Gomez, and is yet to comment on the reports.
Meanwhile, Drake - who is also yet to respond - threw a 're-bar mitzvah' celebration for his 31st birthday this week, with The Weeknd and Hadid both absent.
