'Hot Girl Summer' rapper Megan The Stallion's mother passed away earlier this year.
Megan Thee Stallion has taken to Twitter to hit back at a conspiracy theory about her mother's recent death, which was posted by a former NFL player.
The theory was sparked after Megan announced the news that she'd signed a deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation label and shared a picture of herself with Jay-Z on social media.
Responding to that post, former NFL star Larry Johnson took to Twitter to share the theory and wrote, 'A coincidence : Her mother, who was her manager died in the month of March 2019, the same month of her “break out.” Music industry filled with the easily corrupt fatherless children looking for Satan to be the “daddy” they never had.'
But Megan responded to Johnson's message and denied the accuracy of what he said in his message.
Writing in her response, Megan said, "Just because YOU found out about me around the time my mother passed does not make what you’re saying accurate. I’ve been grinding for so long and would appreciate if you weirdos on the internet would stop trying to associate my mother having A BRAIN TUMOR with the f***ing devil."

People were quick to jump to Megan's defence and apologise to the rapper for even having to face an accusation like this just months after her mother's death.
After building up her name in the Hip Hop scene, Megan Thee Stallion has become one of the most exciting rappers around and sparked the 'Hot Girl Summer' phrase which became the catchphrase of Summer 2019.
Megan also recently sat down with our Classical Music Expert to explain her song 'Big Ole Freak' and things got a little bit awkward!
