The 34-year-old actress shared an open letter to the rapper, who was fatally shot outside his 'Marathon Clothing' store in Los Angeles on 31st March 2019.
Accompanying a series of photos of Nipsey was a lengthy Instagram caption written by Lauren, the mother of Nip's youngest child, Kross. "Today We celebrate You my beloved," the letter begins, "Today we honor you King."
"We are to live in our highest vibrations today because that is how Nip lived his life. We should encourage and inspire today because that is how Hussle lived his life."
"Today we should love and give truth because that is how He lived his life. His Purpose still lives on with us all. Ermias wasn’t a sad soul. He was a powerful strong magical soul. Today is the day we lift up."
The letter concludes, "Long Live My other half. My beloved King. Ermias. Nip Hussle The Great! I miss you. I love you. Still here holding it UP!"
Lauren also shared a tribute to Nipsey on Father's Day earlier this year. The legendary rapper was also father to a daughter, Emani, from a previous relationship, while Lauren also has a child from a past relationship with Lil Wayne.
"One of the reasons I fell in Love with You…. Your Fatherhood. ‘Today we celebrate You. Love you Ermias", wrote Lauren.
