According to the incarcerated rapper's girlfriend Jade, 6ix9ine - who was arrested last year on racketeering charges - won't be in jail for much longer.

Tekashi 6ix9ine's jail release date might be approaching sooner than you think, according to his girlfriend Jade.

The model took to Instagram to give a shout out to her incarcerated boo, whom she began dating prior to his racketeering arrest at the end of last year.

"6 more months motherf**ker," she wrote alongside a selfie flashing her multiple tattoos dedicated to the 23-year-old New York rapper.

"6 more months motherf**ker," Jade captioned the snap before changing it later.

Jade's original caption suggested that 6ix9ine's potential release date is still slated for early 2020. As previously reported, the rapper is scheduled to appear in court in January next year.

6ix9ine potentially faces a mandatory sentence of 47 years in prison if found guilty of the charges against him, despite cooperating with police in his racketeering case.

Soon after she posted the picture, Jade amended her caption. She changed it to: "These jail calls are serious." Jade is yet to address the alteration.

Last month, 6ix9ine's former affiliate Kintea "Kooda B" McKenzie pleaded guilty in court for the racketeering case that involves the rapper and the shooting attempt at Chief Keef in New York.

Kooda claimed Tekashi "wanted to intimidate rather than actually hit the individual," before admitting he organised the shooting because "because Tekashi asked me to arrange this."
