Rihanna is reportedly renting an entire island off the coast of Essex to record her new album.
According to The Mirror, the 31-year-old singer - who was recently named the world's wealthiest female musician - is renting a state-of-the-art studio on celebrity hotspot Osea Island, located in Blackwater River.
Often nicknamed “the English Necker,” Osea Island reportedly costs a whopping £20,000 to rent per day, and boasts its own gym, cinema and pool, as well as housing for her entourage.
“Rihanna has invited family to spend time with her while she work," the source claims. "She’s had a few stints in the studio since her last album, but she’s been really focused on her makeup, clothing and lingerie lines."
“But since she moved to London, she has had friends and family staying with her so she can work at her own pace, surrounded by the people she loves.”
The exclusive luxury island is owned by music producer Nigel Frieda, and is home to Miloco Recording Studios, used by musicians as a private retreat to record their music.
Rihanna recently revealed that she's secretly been living in London for over a year. She's reportedly renting a £16,000-a-week mansion in the UK capital worth a staggering £30 Million.
The Fenty Beauty queen has racked up an astonishing $600 million fortune, making her her the richest female musician in the world and overtaking the likes of Madonna ($570 million), Céline Dion ($450 million) and Beyoncé ($400 million).x
