Nicki Minaj has addressed her breakup with Meek Mill in a new interview, following her controversial song ‘Barbie Dreams’.

The ‘Queen’ rapper, who appeared to mock Meek Mill in the song, opened up about their split during an interview with Funk Flex.

“Since he came home [from prison] he apologised to me,” she said.

“He’s really tried to be the bigger person and he’s come out and said ‘I know I didn’t really do right’ and ‘you stood by me’ and ‘you were good to me’.

“And because of that I was able to breathe and really try to forgive and move on because I’m a forgiving person as long a person comes at me right.

“If they continue with their bullsh*t I’m not just going to kiss your *ss and double-back, I’m not going to do that.

“But if you take that step with me, I’ll meet you halfway.”

The New York rapper sparked a big response from Meek Mill after hearing the lyrics aimed at him on her song ‘Barbie Dreams’.

Nicki suggested that she was avoided his attempts to win her back.

"Meek still be in my DMs, I be havin' to duck him/ "I used to pray for times like this" face-ass when I f*ck him."

Nicki Minaj’s new album ‘Queen’ was released on 10th August.
