Ariana Grande has broken her self-imposed social media silence following her surprise split with fiancée Pete Davidson.

The ‘God Is A Woman’ singer reportedly broke up with Davidson and called off their engagement following the death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller.

According to TMZ, Ariana Grande has returned her engagement ring, which reportedly cost the comedian $100,000.

However she plans to keep their teacup pig called Piggie Smallz, that they adopted last month when they were still in a relationship.

Following the surprising news about their split, Pete Davidson deleted his social media accounts.

However Ariana Grande, who had remained silent, has now tweeted for the first time since the announcement.

The singer took the opportunity to promote her upcoming appearance in a musical called Wicked.

She wrote: “Honoured to be included in this celebration of 15 years of my favorite musical of all time wouldn’t miss it for the whole universe #wicked15.”

Meanwhile, following the initial reports about Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson’s split, there are suggestions that the pair ended their engagement over disagreements surrounding Mac Miller.

TMZ claim that after her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller died of a suspected overdose, she realised that she wasn’t fully invested in her relationship with Pete and had rushed into marriage too early.
