With six children of her own and nine grandchildren, Kris Jenner has shared some parenting advice to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Kris Jenner is the ultimate momager - having supported her children Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Rob, Kylie and Kendall as they navigated reality TV and various business ventures, the sixty-three-year-old knows a thing or two about parenting in the spotlight.
So with Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle having recently welcomed royal baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to the world, Kris Jenner offered some words of advice to the new parents on what their first steps into the world of parenting should be like.
Speaking to E! on the red carpet at the 2019 Met Gala, Kris Jenner was asked for her advice to the new parents and she responded by saying, "Just enjoy every second of that first few days. And just close the door, shut out the world and enjoy."
Naturally, having raised her family whilst simultaneously filming every moment of their day for their Keeping Up With The Kardashian's, reality tv show, many people on social media felt that these comments were hypocritical, with one person writing "When has Kris Jenner ever shut out the world?"
Others on social media suggested Kris Jenner's words for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were simply a warning before the family inevitably face a tonne of media attention in the years to come.
Asked about any advice she had for the couple, Kris' daughter Kim Kardashian decided to remain relatively tight-lipped and said, “I think they have so many people giving them the best advice.”
Kim is currently awaiting the birth of her new baby son with husband Kanye West, with the baby due to be born via surrogate in the next few months.
