The nominations for the 2019 Mercury Prize ‘Albums of the Year’ have landed, with judges this year including former nominees Stormzy and Jorja Smith.

Dave, NAO and Little Simz are the among the nominees at the 2019 Hyundai Mercury Prize ‘Albums of the Year’.

Picking up a nomination for his debut album 'Psychodrama,' 21-year-old Dave sits alongside songstress NAO, who has been nominated for her 2018 offering 'Saturn.'

Rapper Little Simz has also been nominated for her album ‘Grey Area’, while slowthai also picked up a nod for his record ‘Nothing Great About Britain’.

Taking place on Thursday 19th September at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, the awards celebrate and promote the best of British and Irish music across a range of contemporary music genres.

The judges this year include 2017 Mercury nominee Stormzy and 2018 Mercury nominee Jorja Smith.
