21 Savage is being held in custody after he was arrested by immigration services when it was revealed he was actually a British citizen whose U.S visa had run out.
The surprise story of 21 Savage's British citizenship has had the whole internet talking for days now, but what many people have forgotten is that whilst everything is being processed 21 Savage is actually being held in custody.
Now his manager have given an update on the 'a lot' rapper and his conditions in jail and they've come as a huge shock to his fans.
21 Savage, whose legal name is Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is being held by Immigration and Customs Enforcement but his manager Stone Mound Meezy has revealed that he's being kept away from everyone and everything.
In a tweet he since deleted, Stone Mound Meezy wrote, 'Just got of phone wit Savage...he is in lockdown for 23hrs of the day no tv or any communication besides our 10 min phone calls...everything I've told him that has been happening made him happy and makes this time fly by thank y'all for the support'.
According to ICE, 21 Savage is a British citizen who arrived in the United States from the UK in 2005 when he was 12-years-old and is currently 'unlawfully present' in the U.S.after illegally overstaying his visa.
A number of high profile names have spoken out to support 21 Savage and a 'Free 21 Savage' online petition has picked up over 115,000 signatures.
