The 'Bodak Yellow' star has addressed the rumours.

Cardi B has opened up about her relationship with Nicki Minaj.

The female rappers - who are rumoured to have feuded in the past - both recently featured on Migos' new single 'Motorsport'.

After the track dropped, speculation arose that the pair were actually throwing shots at each other in their respective verses on the song.

"I spoke to her before," the rapstress told Capital XTRA's Manny Norte about the state of her friendship with Minaj, "We spoke about things."

The 'Bodak Yellow' rapstress revealed that Nicki's verse on the final cut of the track was actually different to her original one.

"When I heard the track, her verse wasn’t finished. It [wasn’t] the verse that's on it right now," she said.

Several people commented on the apparent beef after the track began to pick up steam, with rapper Joe Budden claiming that the song was initially a collaboration between Migos and Cardi B.

Nicki previously denied the rumours, with Cardi clarifying that when Migos' member Quavo approached her to jump on the song, she was ready to seize the opportunity.

"Quavo told me to get on the song," explained the New York native, "I just thought it was the perfect opportunity for me to be on a track that’s big like them."

"Those are two big people and I’m just starting in the game. I was like “I know that if I get on this record, it’s gonna be crazy," she continued.

"So I jumped on it."

Meanwhile, Cardi's chart-smashing debut single was recently nominated for two Grammys at next year’s prestigious awards ceremony.

The rapper, who is set to perform at the 2017 MOBO Awards tonight, revealed to Manny the secret to her success.
