The MOBO Awards have revealed they'll be taking over Wembley Arena in November 2020 for a massive homecoming show.
After teasing fans on social media, MOBO Awards have today announced that their next iconic awards ceremony will take place at Wembley Arena on 12th November 2020.
Set to feature the world’s best-known artists being celebrated by fans and fellow artists alike, the MOBO ceremony will also include history-making performances that we have come to know and love.
Speaking about the announcmeent, MOBO Awards CEO Kanya King CBE said, “We felt empowered to bring MOBO back to Brent to coincide with the borough’s Year of Culture because this is where our fight to challenge the status quo to create a level playing field started."
She went on to say, "We are returning with even more determination and energy to support and boost our culture wherever we can. 2020 will see many positive changes that will impact more and more talented young people – very proud to be back and to help ensure that the younger generation will also dare to dream.”
The MOBO Awards had a brief hiatus in 2018 and the last awards ceremony took place in Leeds back in 2017, featuring live performances from the likes of Cardi B and Davido.
