Fans may be in luck.

Drake has fuelled 'Top Boy' season three rumours after posting a photo with one of the show's stars, Ashley Walters.

A self-proclaimed fan of the British television drama, Drizzy posed alongside the actor in a recent Instagram snap, prompting fans to speculate at a potential third series.

Initial rumours of Drizzy's involvement with the show began circulating back in 2014 after the rapper posted a picture of Walter's character, Dushane, on Instagram.

The 'Hotline Bling' star then praised the drama in a Tweet exchange with Walters after the show began airing in the US, igniting his relationship with the UK and London grime scene.

A year later, Walters revealed that Drake was eager to fund an hotly-anticipated third season of 'Top Boy', which also stars British grime MC Kano.

"Drake is involved," the actor told Complex last year, "He's coming on board to help and try and push the situation forward."

After allegedly being cancelled by Channel 4, Walters, Kano and Mercury Prize winner Skepta have all expressed major interest in working on a new series, as well as dropping hints about Drizzy's involvement.

"He more than likes it," Kano told Manny Norte exclusively on The Norte Show on Capital XTRA earlier last year.

This may be the hint that fans have been waiting for, as many users were quick to suggest a 'Top Boy' collaboration between Drake and Walters after the recent photo was posted.

Meanwhile, Drake is currently travelling the UK with his hugely successful Boy Meets World Tour.

The rapper recently dropped by Tape London nightclub to take a break from his hectic schedule.
