Cardi was nominated for eight awards on the night...
Cardi B has beaten Nicki Minaj to win her first ever Billboard Award.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper won the award for Top Female Rap artist at the prestigious awards ceremony in Nevada.
However some fans were not happy as it was part of the non-televised section.
Cardi beat off competition from her rumoured rival Nicki Minaj and viral sensation Bhad Bhabie.
Unfortunately Cardi B wasn’t at the Las Vegas ceremony to accept the award.
However the pregnant 25-year-old watched from home as Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled performed their new Cardi B collaboration ‘Dinero’.

She was also nominated for Top Rap Song, Top New Artist, and the fan-voted Billboard Chart Achievement but lost out in all three categories.
The New York rapper recently released her debut album ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ in April 2018, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
In 2017, Drake picked up a record 13 awards – winning trophies for Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, and Top Rap Artist.
