Cardi B Blames Nicki Minaj Fans After New Single ‘Money’ Leaks Online

The 'Bodak Yellow' rapper is frustrated after suggesting that Nicki Minaj's fanbase were responsible for spreading leaks.

Cardi B has blamed Nicki Minaj fans after her new single ‘Money’ leaked online ahead of its original release date.

Fans were expecting Cardi to release her JWhiteDidIt-produced comeback single on Thursday however the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper released the song two days early after suggesting that Nicki Minaj’s "Barbz" fan base was involved.

"So as you can see, my song ‘Money’ got leaked. So it’s like, f*ck it; if it’s leaked, might as well put it out,” she explained to her fans on Instagram Live.

“I think it got leaked because sometimes you send your records early to these streaming or these music platforms, somebody from they building leak it and everything.”

“We tried to retract it, but you know the Barbz—they always posting me, they always post everything I do.

“They claim they hate me but they really love me because they be on my page before my fans […] Everything that I do, they be on it before my fans. So, clearly, that seems like love to me.”

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s feud became public almost two months ago at New York Fashion Week.

The two New York rappers were involved in a physical altercation at a Harper’s Bazaar party, that resulted in Cardi B throwing a shoe at Nicki Minaj.

Since the incident, Cardi B has claimed that she attacked Nicki Minaj over comments made about her parenting skills.

While Nicki Minaj, who has denied all accusations, has mocked Cardi B over suggestions that she has tried to stop Cardi from being paid.
