The rapper was fatally shot on Monday.
Fans of XXXTentacion were left confused yesterday after a video began circulating of the rapper claiming to still be alive.
XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was shot multiple times and killed during an apparent robbery outside a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida on Monday (18th June.)
In the old footage, which was filmed prior to the tragic incident, Onfroy says he is "still alive" and that his apparent "death" was actually part of a music video.
People believed that the video was recent after it resurfaced online, causing many fans to believe that the rapper had faked his own death.

The original video was allegedly a response to a 2017 incident which saw XXXTentacion pretend to hang himself on Instagram, which sparked controversy online following concern about his influence on young fans.
On Monday, Broward County Sheriff's Department officials confirmed that Onfrey had passed away after being fatally shot. He was 20 years old.
"The adult male that was taken to the hospital has been pronounced dead," they wrote, before confirming his identity.
