After people initially assumed it was Tay's mother filming her videos, it was later confirmed by rapper Woah Vicky that Tay's brother was behind her social media accounts. "It's her brother who runs her account. He's like 16 and he be wilding, like telling her what to say and what to do," says Vicky. "She don't know what half the stuff means. It's messed up."
