The Southwark Crown Court met on the 21st May, without the presence of Chris himself, to conclude that bail would be under the condition that he must pay a security fee of £5 million, because of concerns of the star being a flight risk.
He was forced to pay £4 million up-front with a further £1 million to be paid within a week, which will be returned to the artist upon his attendance to the hearing.
His team were seen outside of Forest Bank Prison awaiting his release, with a fresh bag of clothing and shoes, earlier today 21st May.
The ‘Run It’ singer is due back in the Crown Court for a hearing on the 20th June, a date conveniently taking place between the star’s concerts in Cardiff and London, the 19th and 21st.
The Court determined as part of his bail conditions that he will have to surrender his passport to prevent the star travelling; the only exception being tour travel, and to provide the court with a permanent UK address.
He is also required to have no contact with the victim as well as not stepping foot in the nightclub where the attack took place, Tape.
If the ‘Loyal’ singer breaches these bail conditions his security fee will be forfeited, and it will be considered a serious offence.
One of the star’s entourage, Omololu Akinlolu, a.k.a HoddyBaby, was also charged alongside Chris, and is also due to appear in court next month.
Chris Brown’s tour begins on the 8th June, kicking of his Europe-leg of the tour in Amsterdam, landing back in the UK for his show in Manchester on the 15th June.
It is not yet known whether the rest of the tour, that takes place after the court hearing on the 20th, will take place, however fans are hopeful.
