Following on from Halle’s own restraining order, her ex filed documents in hopes to be granted sole custody of their son, and to prevent her travel with Halo over the coming months.
DDG claimed that Halle was mentally unstable and unfit to look after their son, Halle had previously claimed that her ex-partner was physically abusive and a risk to her and her son.
The judge did not change the temporary custody arrangement that came as a result of The Little Mermaid star’s own court order in May.
However, DDG now has legal protections against the actress, preventing her from any alleged ‘physical or emotional abuse’.
Halle has since spoke out since the reports of the baby dad’s filings, claiming: “[DDG] has exaggerated, lied and misconstrued for the court.”
She then said: “I have been very vocal about my anxiety, depression, and previous thoughts of suicide. I have reached out to my doctor and received treatment to address these issues. I have been and remain 100% available and capable as a parent to our son, Halo.”
