DDG & Halle Bailey court documents: Alleged texts & restraining order explained

Halle Bailey’s ex-partner and baby daddy, DDG, has filed a court order to stop Halle from leaving the country with their baby Halo claiming she is an "imminent emotional and psychological risk".

DDG, the 27-year-old rapper and streamer, has filed an emergency motion to stop his ex-partner and baby mum, Halle Bailey, from leaving the country with their son, Halo, on an upcoming business trip, in papers obtained by PEOPLE.

Following on from The Little Mermaid star’s restraining order last month, which dictated that the rapper was unable to be within 100 yards of the actress after she alleged he was abusive towards her, DDG has now made his own claims against the star.

The streamer filed documents on 4th June, where he detailed that the courts shouldn’t enable Halle to fly abroad as he has concerns she isn’t ‘mentally well enough’ to take care of Halo or herself.

The evidence put forward by the baby’s father shows alleged texts between the pair in which message show threats to her own life along with other shocking claims.

Halle has since responded to these claims by filing a request to deny DDG’s appeal, pointing out that the streamer has taken almost a month to file, despite his team and himself not responding to any attempts made for him to visit their son, who is only 1-year-old.

She is also seeking relief from DDG and his circle posting about herself and the legal proceedings on their respective platforms.

In reference to the incident that Halle claims left her with a chipped tooth from being ‘slammed against the steering wheel’, the 27-year-old claimed that it was actually her that tried to attack him from the backseat.

He is now asking for sole custody of Halo, but there have been no updates since.
