Is Chris Brown’s tour cancelled?
Kicking off his tour in Amsterdam on the 8th June, Chris has been allowed bail to make sure he can perform.
However, the trial's verdict, which takes place on the 20th June, will ultimately determine if the rest of the tour will be cancelled.
The singer could be potentially served with a prison or suspended sentence.
GBH, grievous bodily harm, is considered to be a serious crime by the UK courts, with Chris potentially facing anywhere between 2-16 years in prison if he is proven to have harmed the victim with intent.
It is more common in cases like this to be delivered a suspended sentence, however, this is all speculative and Chris and his team are yet to speak out on any tour updates.
With 6 remaining UK dates, after the trial on the 20th, fans are becoming concerned that their concerts will be cancelled.
The victim, Abe Diaw, has also chosen to pursue a civil case where he is asking for £12 million in damages.
This is the artist’s first concert in the UK since his last tour, and date of alleged assault, February 2023.
