VIBE BY JET2HOLIDAYS CAPITAL XTRA COMMENT TO WIN- BURST 1| CAPITAL XTRA NETWORK | JANUARY/ FEBRUARY 2020
RULES
1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found https://www.capitalxtra.com/terms-conditions/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘VIBE by Jet2holidays Capital XTRA Comment To Win- Burst 1’ Instagram competition (the “Competition") which will run from Friday 31st January 2020 to Wednesday 5th February 2020 on the Capital XTRA official Instagram page (@capitalxtra).
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
DETAILS OF THE COMPETITION:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must head online to the Capital XTRA Instagram account at Instagram.com/capitalxtra. Entrants must follow @capitalxtra on Instagram, if not already, in order to enter the Competition and be contactable via direct message.
4. Entrants must then log onto Instagram with their own account and follow @capitalxtra. The Entrant must find the ‘Comment To Win’ social post first posted on Friday 31st January 2020 on @capitalxtra’s main feed. The Entrant must comment directly or reply directly to a comment on the main grid post with the Instagram handles of the two friends they would most like to share the prize with.
5. Entry to the competition will open at 16:00 on Friday 31st January 2020 and close at 13:00 on Wednesday 5th February 2020.
6. It is the responsibility of The Entrant to obtain the permission of their nominated friends to be tagged in the entry post.
7. From all eligible entries, one winner will be selected at random and contacted via Instagram direct message by a representative of Global to the Instagram ID they used to enter.
8. If the winner does not reply to the direct message on Instagram from Global within 48 hours (2 working days) to claim their prize, Global reserves the right to randomly select a new eligible Entrant to receive the prize. This process will continue until a winner has claimed the prize.
9. Anyone mentioned in an Entrant’s comment on this post must also adhere to the eligibility criteria below and must not be excluded from entering Global’s competitions as per the general competition terms and conditions.
10. If one or both of the two friends tagged in the winning post are unable to attend the winning prize trip, or they do not meet the eligibility criteria, then the winner can select substitute guests who match the eligibility criteria outlined.
ELIGIBILITY:
11. Entrants must follow Capital XTRA on Instagram at @capitalxtra
12. Entrants and their tagged friends/ guests must be aged 18 or over.
13. Entrants and their tagged friends/ guests must be UK residents.
14. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
15. Employees and officers of Jet2holidays, Jet2.com Limited ("Jet2.com"), Fowler Welch-Coolchain Limited, Dart Group plc or any organisation professionally involved with the prize draw, or their close relatives, are not eligible to enter.
16. Entrants can only win one prize across the competition.
PRIZE:
17. There will be one winner who will win a 7-night holiday on an All -inclusive basis in an Island suite with Beach View at the 4-star BH Mallorca hotel in Magalluf, Majorca for 3 adults aged 18 years or over on the date of departure.
18. Room type according to availability.
19. The prize includes return flights from any of the UK bases from which Jet2.com fly directly to the destination.
20. The prize includes £500 spending money (which will be provided by Global) made payable in the form of a cheque. Please allow 28 days for delivery following confirmation of winning.
21. The prize includes holiday insurance (which will be provided by Global).
22. This prize holiday must be booked by 15th March 2020 and travel to and from destination to be taken between the following dates: 27/07/20 - 23/08/20
23. This prize is subject to the Holiday Prize Terms and Conditions.
HOLIDAY PRIZE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
24. The prize and dates are subject to flight and hotel availability at the time of request and may only be taken during the timeframes specified in the individual prize terms. Please note, prize flights are limited on the flights operated by Jet2.com and may be unavailable even if there is general availability on a particular flight.
25. The prize is subject to the Jet2holidays and Jet2.com general terms and conditions which can be found at www.jet2holidays.com/terms-and-conditions and www.jet2.com/terms respectively. In the event of any conflict, these Holiday Prize Draw Terms and Conditions shall take precedence.
26. Jet2holidays reserves the right (but shall be under no obligation) to offer alternative dates/destinations of equal or greater value.
27. The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. The prize must be taken by the prize winner (who must be over the age of 18) along with their selected travel companions (who must also be over the age of 18 on the date of departure) notified to Jet2holidays in the relevant booking, subject to the maximum number of passengers specified within the prize details. Flights must be taken at the same time from the same airport.
28. Any optional purchases or supplements are extra and are subject to the standard Jet2holidays or Jet2.com terms and conditions and any applicable charges must be paid for by the winner at the time of booking for all the travelling party.
29. The prize duration cannot be extended, and the hotel and/or room type will not be changed by the winner. Any additional passengers booked will be charged at normal rates for additional flights and rooms. Please note, once you have made a booking you cannot amend the travel dates.
30. Jet2holidays reserves the right to amend or cancel the flights or holiday for administrative reasons without prior notice. Please note that the Jet2.com flight schedules are not guaranteed. Flights to certain destinations are only available on certain days.
31. This prize includes 1 free item of checked baggage per person up to 22kg and airport transfers to and from the hotel. Provided that the winner lives within the UK, if a winner doesn’t live within a reasonable radius to the airport (60 miles) then Jet2holidays will arrange transport for the winner to get to the airport (this may include any form of transport such as train, coach, bus or taxi, to be selected at Jet2holidays discretion).
32. Travel insurance and spending money is provided by Global.
33. All passengers must have a valid passport to travel and must meet all relevant visa and/or other entry requirements.
34. Jet2holidays will not be liable for any cancellations or changes to the prize draw or the prizes, or for any loss or damage. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the liability of Jet2holidays in relation to personal injury or death caused by Jet2holidays negligence or for fraud.
35. These terms are subject to English Law and by submitting an entry, Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
36. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available.
37. Entrants’ details will be used to administer the competition only. Jet2holidays will use the winner and their accompanying passengers’ details in accordance with the Jet2holidays privacy policy (see https://www.jet2holidays.com/privacy-policy).
38. Please allow up to 28 days from point of contact to receive your cheque.
39. Global is the promoter of this Competition. Please note that Instagram is not responsible for any element of this promotion and has in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered this promotion.
40. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
