People couldn't get over the fact Future had given his young son an expensive diamond watch for his fifth birthday!

We all know that diamond jewellery and rap music go hand-in-hand with everyone from Jay-Z to Migos having sported some sort of bling over the years - but when Future gave his son a diamond watch for his fifth birthday the internet lost it.

Five year old Future Zahir Wilburn is the young son of the 'Mask Off'rapper and fellow music star Ciara, but a generous birthday gift has turned into a storm on social media.

The memes were unrelenting after Future posted a video of his young son opening his $36K diamond Rolex watch and both the terms Future and Rolex were trending for hours afterwards.

Many people were wondering why Future would get a Rolex watch for a five year old, whilst others claimed he'd be left out when all his friends were playing with their Avengers toys, but social media did what it always does and reduced the whole situation to a handful of memes and tweets...
