When Nelson Mandela passed away last week tributes started to flood in from the music world on Twitter and Instagram.

Now, artists have begun performing music tributes to the late South African President. First, R Kelly gave a moving performance on the Arsenio Hall show, and now Alicia Keys and John Legend have dedicated a song to Madiba.

The 'Girl On Fire' singer was on the Australian leg of her 'Set The World On Fire Tour' when she found out about the news, and decided to interrupt her Yarra Valley show to perform a rendition of Bob Marley's 'Redemption Song,' saying:

"We wanted to do something special for you in honour of the great Nelson Mandela, who I feel so moved by in every way," adding, "What an incredible life he lived and what an inspiration for us all to carry forward.

Wyclef Jean also decided to pay tribute through song, posting a YouTube video to his 3.3 million Twitter followers with the message 'A special tribute for @NelsonMandela'.

The black and white video shows Wyclef alone with his guitar, interrupted by stills of Mandela throughout his life.
