Having attended the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle back in May 2018, Idris Elba has spilled the beans on some of the couple's music requests.

They don't happen too often, but when there is a Royal Wedding in the UK they're a pretty huge affair! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aka The Duke & Duchess Of Sussex's wedding was no exception - and now Idris Elba has given us a little insight into the parts we didn't see.

The 'Luther' actor was honoured with being the wedding DJ for the newly married couple and he's finally revealed some of the playlist which entertained guests at the little-talked-about reception.

In an interview on Good Morning America, Idris was asked what it was like DJing at a Royal Wedding and the actor-turned-music-star stated "it was great"

He went on to say, "You know, Harry and Meghan had a great time, it was their wedding. I don't wanna get into the details but it was incredible, they had a great time."

Revealing the surprise Tupac news, Idris added, "They had some particular music they wanted me to play - some Whitney Houston, some Tupac, so you know it went down!"

It's not known whether it was Meghan or Harry who requested the 'California Love' rapper's music be played at the Royal Wedding, but we would love to have seen the rest of the Royal Family enjoying some Pac.

The news comes just days after it was revealed that a docu-series based on the real-life stories of both Tupac and his mother Afeni will be coming to screens soon and will be directed by Allen Hughes, who last worked on the Dr Dre docuseries 'The Defiant Ones'.
