In spite of what Drake announced at a recent concert, you're going to have to wait a little longer.

It's been confirmed that Lil' Wayne's forthcoming album 'Tha Carter V' will not be released on 5th May as expected.

A few weeks back Drizzy announced on stage in New Orleans; "If you want to hear Lil Wayne at his best, if you wanna hear Young Money at they best…Carter V, May 5."

But the rapper's manager Cortez Bryant has confirmed in a new interview that the album doesn't have a release date yet.

"You know I push dates back and s**t, so I’m not gonna release that date until I really, really, really know what it really, really, really is," he told Never Not Dope TV.

In a recent interview Lil Wayne said of the album: "I'm approaching it like it is my last project and I think that’s why it’s a lot different than everything else."
