Krept and Konan have opened up about running their own restaurant Crepes and Cones.

The rappers, who officially opened the restaurant in May, spoke to Manny Norte at Wireless Festival about attempting to balance the project with their rap careers.

“It’s been a long, long, long process,” said Konan. “It’s not easy getting into this field of work.”

“We’re dealing with humans,” added Krept.

“People calling in sick, everyone’s got their own issues, people are late, it effects the whole day.”

However the restaurant appears to be a success so far, with long lines seen inside of the Croydon store.

“A lot of people order everything off the menu so the kitchen is just mayhem,” said Konan.

“It’s a good thing but it’s stressful.”

The UK Hip-Hop duo replaced J Hus, who faced legal difficulties after recently being arrested with a knife.
