Born on 17th October 1972, Eminem - real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III - moved around a lot, eventually settling in Detroit, Michigan where he immersed himself in music. He began entering rap competitions and soon made a name for himself in city’s underground rap scene.

Eminem dropped his debut album 'Infinite' in 1996, followed by his 'Slim Shady EP' the next year. After signing with Dr. Dre, he sky-rocketed to mainstream popularity in 1999 with 'The Slim Shady LP', which earned him his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

His next album, 'The Marshall Mathers LP’, would go on to be the fastest selling hip-hop album in history, and was followed by a reel of hugely successful albums. As of 2018, Eminem has released nine studio albums and four compilation albums.

In November 2002, Eminem starred in '8 Mile', a Hip-Hop film based loosely on Eminem's actual upbringing. He went on to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song for 'Lose Yourself', becoming the first rap artist to ever win the award.

Considering his success over the years, it's no surprise that Eminem has raked in a staggering net worth. As of 2018, Celebrity Net Worth estimates that the rapper is worth $190 million!

Following the release of his latest chart-topping album Revival, the fifteen-time Grammy award winner will bring his Revival Tour to London’s Twickenham Stadium this weekend.

Supported by 2 Chainz, Royce 5’9”, Boogie and Prophets of Rage, the shows - taking place on the 14th and 15th July - are going to be out of this world.
