During his special mix today (28th November) DJ Fresh caught up with Steve Aoki on all things music, the future and of course, cakes.

The 'Neon Future' producer explained the coming together of hit Kid Ink collaboration 'Boneless (Delirious)' and why he decided to get a rapper on the track.

"Boneless was a big club record, people were playing it all around the world and we needed to make a radio record" Aoki told DJ Fresh.

"I've actually never approached a song in that way, like trying to arrange a song for radio, i'm learning from you."

There was one burning question that DJ Fresh had to squeeze in; what makes the perfect cake?

Aoki joked that whereas most people have a sound check before a show he has both a sound check and a 'cake check.'

"To be honest with you the English cake, if we didn’t do this, would give people bloody noses" he laughed. "You have really hard, dense cakes here. I learnt that the hard way."
