The UK rapper spoke to Manny Norte On The Norte Show.
While on The Norte Show, rising UK rapper Stefflon Don addressed people comparing her to Nicki Minaj, spoke about her rapid rise and more with Manny Norte on Capital XTRA.
The female rapper has quickly gained popularity for a freestyle over Section Boyz underground hit ‘Lock Arrf’ and also jumped on a remix of Rihanna ‘Work’ alongside Sneakbo.
However some fans believe that there are a lot of similarities between her and Nicki Minaj.
Speaking on comparisons to the ‘Pinkprint’ rapper she said: “Nicki is the best thing in a long time, so its not a diss when [people compare us].
“But everyone wants to be their own individual, everyone wants to stand out.”
Stefflon is currently working on her first ever mixtape ‘The Don Is Coming’, having only previously appeared on remixes and features.
The first single from the project is out now called ‘Hot Prop’.
