Here's everything you need to know about Post Malone, the rising 'rockstar' rapper everybody is talking about.
In June 2018 Post Malone showed off the latest addition to his tattoo collection via tattoo artist Chad Rowe's Instagram account. The tattoo reads 'Always' below his right eye, and 'Tired' below his left. That's pretty permanent! Picture: Instagram/chadrowetattoos
The rapper rented a house in Encino with his friends who ran a popular Minecraft YouTube channel, sleeping in a closet and "freeloading" while trying to make it in the music industry.
The song reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming Post Malone and 21 Savage's first number-one song. It also broke the single week streaming record on Apple Music with over 25 million streams.
In the action-packed visual, Post and Savage find themselves drenched in blood following a violent samurai sword fight.
The hotly-antipcated follow-up to 'Stoney' was set to drop on 1st December 2017. Following a lengthy delay, the album dropped on 27th April 2018. The record features the hit singles 'Rockstar' and 'Psycho', and broke the Spotify streaming record on its first day of release.
Following on from the success of his chart-topper 'rockstar', Post dropped 'Psycho' at the beginning of 2018. The slow-moving trap-influenced song has a more mellow feel that it's predecessor, and sky-rocketed to number two shortly after its release. Picture: Getty
Post wrote his debut single in "two days", and recorded it with esteemed production duo FKi in LA. It instantly blew up and was picked up on by artists like Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. Six months later, Malone signed a major-label deal with Republic Records.
Post's real name is actually Austin Richard Post. He was born in New York but moved to Texas aged 9 after his father became the manager of concessions for the Dallas Cowboys. Post chose his stage name in his early teens, and admitted that the 'Malone' part of his name is completely made up.
As of 2017, it was estimated that Post was worth around $1 million. However, following the success of 'rockstar' and his recent rise in popularity, this is likely to have increased significantly.
Internet users soon began realising how easy it is to flip the rapper's stage name on its head. 'Post Cologne', 'Water Malone', 'Coast Malone', 'Toast Malone', 'Roast Malone'... you get the picture.
Post was born on 4th July 1995, making him 22 years old.
The rapper claims to be "five star everything on expert mode" on Guitar Hero 3. Post taught himself how to play the real guitar from watching YouTube videos, and was inspired by bands like AC/DC and Metallica.
Yes! Post began writing his own lyrics when he was 16 before recording his first mixtape, which he later described as "awful".

His first hip-hop mixtape was called 'Young and After Them Riches'. He also played in both metal and indie bands whilst growing up, and previously stated that at 40 years old, he aims to become a country singer. During school, his classmates voted him "Most Likely to Become Famous".
Post is rumoured to have been dating his girlfriend, Ashlen, since 2015 after she booked him for a show at a nightclub. The rapper remains very private about his relationship, although the pair did supposedly split briefly sometime after their first Breakfast Club interview.
The track was produced by Metro Boomin and is taken from his debut studio album 'Stoney', which dropped in 2017. 'Congratulations' was certified five times platinum in the US!
Post has addressed rumours claiming that he 'smells' and 'doesn't shower' multiple times. He argues that, while he doesn't have a squeaky clean, preppy image, he does not smell.
