All across the country there are brilliant projects helping youngsters affected by illness, disability or lack of opportunity, that’s why Global’s Make Some Noise Day is back! On the 8th of October, we're asking you to raid your cupboard for your ‘loudest’ piece of clothing, wear it throughout the day to make some noise for those who often go unheard and give what you can to Global’s Make Some Noise. If you need some inspiration for what to wear, don't worry, Nicki's got you covered.
Find out how you can get involved.
On Friday 7th October, Capital XTRA will be uniting with all of Global’s radio stations, their listeners and our friends in the music and entertainment industry to Make Some Noise!
Global's Make Some Noise is Capital XTRA's charity, improving the lives of disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK.
We're encouraging schools, communities, workplaces - and everyone else - to Dress Loud for the day, make a donation and help us change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
Whether you choose to dig out that bright jumper from the back of the wardrobe or kit yourself out head-to-toe in fancy dress, make sure you put on something LOUD, get involved and donate what you can.
How to donate
Make a donation to Global’s Make Some Noise today, and help change the lives of youngsters living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity throughout the UK.
£10 helps a child struggling to cope with the loss of a parent or sibling by creating special ‘memory jars’ to remember their loved one.
£25 means a child with a life-limiting illness can receive an hour of dedicated care and support in their own home
When words are impossible to express, £50 gives a severely disabled child the lifeline of communication through music therapy.
