The black-and-white raw video sees the singer wearing a hoodie and running from the police in the night.
Following are powerful scenes of people with guns and handcuffs, whilst Bibi Bourelly - the woman behind Rihanna's 'BBHMM' , sings, "Don't shoot."

"Chains" is my way of spreading light on the issues we face in our social injustice system," Usher tweeted about the song.
"As artists we have to use our platform to spread awareness and inspire action."
The official video follows up Usher's interactive clip for the song on TIDAL that used facial technology to pause the track every time the viewers eyes diverted from the screen.
