It looks like Meek Mill is well and truly back for his crown.

Meek Mill took to the stage at Rolling Loud Festival in Miami on Saturday for a surprise performance, after Cardi B was forced to pull out due to being heavily pregnant and DJ Khaled was the one to thank, bringing out the Philly rapper and a number of guests for his star-studded set.

Taking to the stage, Meek first made a poignant statement before thanking his fans for all of their support. He said: "It feel good to be back and free in front of the muthaf*cking people.

"I wanna say thank you to everybody that supported Meek Milly, they tried to take my freedom, they tried to crush my dreams, but now we in Miami glowing the f*ck up, let’s get it."

This was Meek’s first performance since his release from prison this month and he performed his firm favourite ‘Dreams And Nightmares,’ 'Imma Boss,' '1942 Flows' and 'Litty' bringing out Tory Lanez who features on the track.

Following the 31-year-old's widely-publicised release from prison, he's been actively doing interviews about incarceration and the American justice system.

In Meek's first interview since his release, when asked by NBC's Lester Holt if he feels free, Meek replied: "No I don't feel free."

"I ain't feel free since I caught this case at the age of 19. I'm 30 now."

It was reported that Meek’s conviction on gun and drug charges was overturned following concerns surrounding one of the key witnesses, who was a police officer.
