In the week that Drake headlined Coachella, hip-hop lovers were treated to some epic new music, including 'My Side' from Drizzy, the Vic Mensa and Kanye West collaboration that had been on the cards for months now and there's even a new one from Eminem and Yelawolf. Meanwhile, Trey Songz outdone everybody by dropping a six-track EP as a surprise, because, why not?!
Drake - 'My Side'
Hot off his much talked about Coachella set, Drake unveiled a brand new song titled 'My Side.' The slow jam hears the 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late' rapper think out loud about where things have gone wrong in a relationship.
Vic Mensa Feat. Kanye West - 'U Mad'
Chicago rapper Mensa first worked with Yeezy on his Sia-assisted song 'Wolves', which dropped earlier this year. The 21-year-old then came over the to UK with 'Ye to perform alongside him at the BRIT Awards, with Skepta, Stormzy and other UK grime artists also taking the stage.
Yelawolf Feat. Eminem - 'Best Friend'
Eminem has hooked up with Alabama rapper Yelawolf, his latest protege and Shady Records signee, for the first single off his second studio album 'Love Story,' released on 21st April.
Trey Songz - 'Intermission' (EP)
Trey Songz has dropped a surprise EP to keep fans busy while they await his forthcoming 'Trigga Reloaded' album. The EP, titled 'Intermission,' features six tracks including songs 'Don't Play,' 'Boss' and 'Good Girls vs Bad Girls.'
Zedd Feat. Bahari - 'Addicted To A Memory'
Zedd has unveiled a brand new single titled 'Addicted To A Memory.' The track, which features vocals from American girl group Bahari, hears the super producer return to his electronic roots after going mainstream with his debut album 'Clarity.'
