The Weeknd treated us to the surprise six-track 'My Dear Melancholy' at the beginning of the month; a whimsical, introspective EP which draws many similarities to his early work.
April also sees the release of Cardi B's hotly anticipated debut album 'Invasion of Privacy'. Unlike The Weeknd's latest offering, we've been waiting for this one for quite a while now, so let's see what she's got planned.
Check out the biggest songs to drop this month below.

Already playing host to the platinum-selling Kendrick Lamar collaboration 'New Freezer', Rich The Kid's debut album is a star-studded affair. Guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Future, Khalid, Rick Ross, Chris Brown and many more put this record on heavy rotation.
Dolla comes through with another woozy summery future hitter. Featuring Gucci and Huncho, 'Pineapple' hears the trio trade bars over a easy beat between repetitions of an infectious hook.
The Lady is taking us all the way to Wakanda with her latest fiery freestyle. The Birmingham MC spits over a beat sampled from Missy Elliott's classic 'She’s A B*tch', which earned her praise from the icon herself!
As if the original wasn't dreamy enough, Jessie Reyez has enlisted the chops of fellow rising star - and fellow Toronto native - Daniel Caesar for a reprise of her smash hit 'Figures'.
Young Money chief Wayne is throwing it back to his Cash Money era as he links up with Canadian rapper Preme. 'Hot Boy' sees the duo take a trip down memory lane over a smooth, flowing instrumental.
There's no stopping Steff right now! The Brits Critics Choice finalist delivers a characteristically sweet yet attitude-drenched feature on Davido's sunny track 'Fia', melting their African and Caribbean sounds together perfectly.
Ahead of the release of the much anticipated Cash Money documentary, Birdman shared its star-studded soundtrack. Boasting features from Migos, Snoop Dogg, Young Thug and Gucci Mane to name a few, this is big.
