After being arrested and charged with a double murder back in 2015, Degruy was only recently sentenced after a jury found him guilty, with the judge going on to give him life in prison.

When Lil Wayne signed Degruy to YMCMB he was put into a group called L.A.T. alongside 'Bedrock' star Gudda Gudda and fellow rapper Kevin Gates, however it was only three years before the he would be arrested for the double murder.

Degruy had previously pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice and conspiracy to obstruct justice, however his lawyer had also attempted to get the murder charges thrown out of court.

The former YMCMB star shot dead 22-year-old Kendrick and 18-year-old Kendred Bishop as they sat in a van, with Degruy being spotted on CCTV whilst his mobile phone was also found at the scene.

Neither Lil Wayne nor YMCMB have commented on the situation surrounding their former affiliate at the time of writing.
