On January 26th, 2020, the news broke that both of the Bryant family members had tragically lost their lives in a devastating helicopter accident, which also claimed the lives of 7 others on board.
Kobe left behind his wife of almost 20 years, and his three other daughters, Natalia (23), Bianka (9), and Capri (6).
Now 6 years on, his widow, Vanessa Bryant, has shared a post to her late family members.
Posting to her 15 million Instagram followers, she shared an emotional photo tribute, featuring an image of Kobe and his daughters, Gigi and Natali, attending one of his Lakers games.
The cute picture showed the player holding the hands of the two girls, who wore matching sparkly Bryant jerseys.
Whilst Vanessa didn’t put any words on the post, the weight of the image communicated to fans just how heavy the passing has been on the family.
Natalia, who is now 23 years old, also shared a similar photo showing a young Gigi hugging Kobe, with a heart emoji.
The family has not held back on the emotional impact of the loss over the years, with the 43-year-old widow reportedly vowing to never marry again.
Fans are supportive of the family, sharing their condolences on social media on the 6th anniversary of their death.
One fan wrote: “It's six years already? It feels so fresh like yesterday day, may they continue to rest in peace!”
