Tory Lanez rushed to hospital after being attacked in prison stabbing

Tory Lanez, who is serving 10 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, has been attacked in prison.

Tory Lanez has been stabbed 14 times by fellow inmates whilst serving his sentence for shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

Both the rapper’s lungs had collapsed causing him to be put on breathing support.

The ‘Say It’ rapper is in hospital currently, with his team releasing a statement on Tory’s Instagram detailing the extent of his injury, but assuring he is now “breathing on his own” and in “good spirits”.

Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was approaching his 2-year mark in prison, since his sentencing back in August 2023.

Confirmed by the state Department of Corrections, the attack happened at 7:20am, although the identity of the perpetrator is still unknown.

Megan was shot in the feet by Lanez back in July 2020, which lead a long road of both physical and mental recovery for the ‘Bigger In Texas’ rapper.

Tory has famously never apologised for the attack, maintaining his innocence even after being sentenced.

It is not yet known when the star will be fully recovered but he “thanks everyone for their continued prayers and support”.
