This clip, which shows a confrontation between the pair from over a year ago, surfaced yesterday.

Tory Lanez has issued a response following the surprising footage leak of a 'fight' between himself and 'Goosebumps' rapper Travis Scott.

On Tuesday night (13th March), a video was leaked to WorldStarHipHop showing Scott confront Lanez over an old tweet from Tory slamming comparisons between the pair.

"I can't sound like anybody I wrote for." wrote Lanez at the time. The newly-surfaced footage - which was from over a year a ago - sees the duo engage in a heated verbal argument before almost getting physical.

The footage quickly went viral and prompted Southside, a producer and friend of Scott's, to threaten Lanez and suggest he leaked the video himself to boost his new album sales.

However, following the blow-up, Lanez took to Twitter to clarify that the beef is a thing of the past.

"Me and @trvisXX been got passed this irrelevant a*s argument a year and a half ago .. that’s my dawg." he wrote.

The aforementioned fight was referenced in 'Hate To Say', a song features on Lanez's new album 'Memories Don't Die'.

Speaking to HotNewHipHop, the singer-rapper previously opened up about the near bust-up.

"It comes to a point where I get off stage, and I'm in a room...and Travis busts in the room like 'yo come talk to me blood, come talk to me outside," said Tory.

"I was going to talk to him, but I felt he was being too disrespectful. I didn't go talk to him outside."

Scott is yet to respond to the situation.
