The American Music Awards 2015: The Winners List

Nicki Minaj and The Weeknd were big winners.

The American Music Awards took over the music world last night (22rd November) and was held at LA Live in Los Angeles.

It was a big night for Nicki Minaj, who picked up two awards for ‘Favourite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist’ and ‘Favourite Rap/Hip-Hop Album’, while Rihanna, who wasn’t at the event, was awarded for ‘Favourite Female Soul/R&B Artist'.

The Weeknd, who performed his hit single 'The Hills', also won 'Favourite Album' in the Soul/R&B category for his latest album 'Beauty Behind The Madness'.
