Khloe Kardashian announced the name of her baby daughter with Tristan Thompson last night, and it garnered mixed reactions.
The reality TV star chose the name 'True' for her firstborn, who was born on 12th April. The name reveal broke Khloe's social media silence following allegations of Thompson cheating on her multiple times.
In the wake of the infidelity scandal, people couldn't help but point out the 'irony' in choosing the name True following Khloe's announcement.

However, Kris Jenner has since revealed the meaning behind the unique name has a surprisingly deep familial connection.
"I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!!" wrote the business woman, who is now grandmother to nine children.
"FUN FACT... my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton....my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton...so i am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!!"
In her initial announcement, Khloe revealed their new addition has "completely stolen our hearts" and they are "overwhelmed with love."
"Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!" she added.
Both Khloe and Tristan are yet to comment on the ongoing cheating scandal. Khloe reportedly conceived the baby naturally, and Tristan was present at the birth.
