Love Island USA is back, and there is one couple in particular that has been dominating everyone’s social media pages, and that is Huda and Jeremiah – so who are they? And what has their Love Island journey been like so far?

Love Island USA has gained popularity over the last years, with some UK fans now saying they are picking the American version over the British, purely for the drama, and Huda Mustafa and Jeremiah Brown have been giving viewers exactly that.

Huda and Jeremiah have been coupled up since the start of the 2025 series, with the show set to be on screens for almost eight weeks, they initially appeared to be destined for each other.

So if you have not been watching, or have and want the rundown on why this couple is peaking people’s interest – here are all the details!

What happened with Love Island USA’s Huda Mustafa and Jeremiah Brown?

Coupling up from the first recoupling, Jeremiah initially picked Huda and their chemistry immediately recognisable to viewers at home.

One of the couple’s viral moments was when in Episode 1, Jeremiah, who had no loyalty to Huda, swerved a kiss from a bombshell, a sign he was clearly serious about his connection.

The next viral moment came when Huda told Jeremiah that she was a mum, in Episode 3, having a 4-year-old daughter.

The reaction from Jeremiah was one of surprise, and clearly created tension between the pair, and this is probably where viewers would say the cracks started to show.

Over the next week, drama prickled amongst them both, and fans' attitudes towards the couple quickly changed.

Huda has been viewed by fans as ‘quite toxic’, being very quick to blame, and this is where a public vote made America's view clear to the Islanders.

A public vote determined who the new bombshell, Iris, would couple up with, and to the villa’s surprise and dramatic reaction, Jeremiah was selected.

This communicated to the contestants that America was seeing something between Huda and Jeremiah that they weren’t.

The boys were very quick to point out to Jeremiah that he had closed himself off too quickly, the show barely being on for two weeks, and this is where he started to doubt his own couple.

Ultimately, this all came to a head in Episode 14, when Jeremiah was given the opportunity to choose between bombshell Iris and Huda.

Stood very theatrically behind a closed door, the girls nervously awaited their fate, and to everyone’s surprise, at home and in the villa, Jeremiah made the bold stand to pick Iris.

In a very dramatic moment, Huda fell to her knees whilst the Island’s newest couple embraced.

Huda flipped out in the moment, as she and fellow Islander Jalen were vulnerable.

Jeremiah claimed that the reason he had made his decision was because Huda had become too ‘toxic’, to which some of the boys supported.

The Islanders choose to keep Huda over Jalen, leaving Huda single in the villa.

The next few episodes will be sure to be icy between the previous couple, but it will surely be interesting to see if Huda will attempt to find a new man or try and get Jeremiah back.
