Love Island USA’s, Ace Greene and Chelley Bissainthe, have been stirring up conversation online concerning their intentions – there have been rumours this pair are actually dating in real life, so here are all the details.

Love Island USA has been capturing the attention of viewers all over the globe, and it has certainly been dominating our social media feeds, but one couple in particular, Ace Greene and Chelley Bissainthe, have been causing online discourse, after accusations surrounding their past relations before the show.

When both of the OG cast members first entered the villa in episode 1, there was clearly an attraction between the two.

When they first interacted, Ace mentioned that he had met her before, the show’s host, Ariana Madix, as surprised and interested as viewers, asked for more information.

Chelley expanded and explaied that they met back in January, when she was in LA celebrating a friend’s birthday outside of the club, and that since then, they had been exchanging DM’s here and there.

Neither of them insinuated it was serious, but fellow contestant Huda joked about ‘soul ties’ – meaning the idea of an invisible thread pulling two people together that are destined for love.

This narrative is one of romcoms and chick flicks, and one that would definitely be eaten up by Love Island viewers, which has some fans suggesting that this is the pair’s gameplay in order to win the prize money at the end of the show.

This theory has snowballed since an alleged friend of theirs spilled their ‘secrets’ in a post on Instagram, which claims they have actually been dating long before the show.

In this post, the person accused the ‘couple’ of knowing each other for much longer than January, and them lying about ‘bumping into each other’, instead insinuating that they had worked together before, as Ace is a rapper and Chelley a dancer.

The ‘friend’ then went on, accusing them of ‘already being intimate’, claiming Chelley had already been introduced to all of Ace’s friends, closing it out by saying ‘Chelley’s not entertaining anyone else in the villa because she’s already with Ace. She’s sitting back letting him run his play.’

Most definitely some juicy rumours!

Fans have gone even deeper into both of the Islanders' pages and discovered a clip of Ace on livestream saying Chelley’s name.

Ace gained fame by doing livestreams worldwide, where he teaches people dance routines.

In one of these livestreams that fans uncovered, he asks all the members of the livestream to say: “Be my valentine, Chelley”.

This video was from before January, which is why fans are so suspicious.

As well as their obvious chemistry, and the storyline of them initially being super close but drifting apart, to now finally recoupling in a peak moment for viewers, some fans suspect it is all a ruse.

However, this is all speculative, and Ace and Chelley could just genuinely be THAT cute together!

Some of Ace’s friends have come to his defence, claiming that these rumours are painting a picture that is untrue, and that ‘nothing came out of it because of the long distance.’

Like some fans suggest, the couple were honest about knowing each other, and the alleged friend who has come forward is completely unconfirmed and could just be stirring the pot.
