Unknown T Murder Charge: Rapper Appears In Court For First Time

East London rapper Unknown T appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court (18th Jul) after being charged with the murder of 20-year-old Steven Narvaez-Jara.

Update:

East London Drill rapper Unknown T has been remanded in custody after appearing in court Thursday (18th Jul) after being charged with murder.

The 19-year-old rapper spoke in the dock at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court only to confirm his age, address and real name, Daniel Lena.

Lena, who is from Homerton, Hackney is charged with violent disorder and the murder of 20-year-old Steven Narvaez-Jara from an incident in January 2018.

Narvaez-Jara, from Belvedere in Kent, was stabbed on New Year's Day morning at a party in Islington, North London.

Raman Boreland and Mohammed Musse, 20, also appeared in court alongside Unknown T.

Boreland is also stands charged with the murder of Mr Narvaez-Jara.

Musse is accused of violent disorder, along with other defendants. Musse has also been granted bail, which hasn't been granted to Boreland and Lena.

All three men are set return to the Old Bailey at a later date.

East London drill rapper Unknown T, whose real name is Daniel Lena, has reportedly been charged with the murder of 20-year-old Steven Narvaez-Jara, from Belvedere, Kent.

According to London's Met Police, the incident took place on New Year's Day 2018, at an apartment in Islington, North London.

Steven was the first London stabbing victim last year.

Police arrived at the scene near Old Street Station around 2:35am, along with an ambulance crew, but Steven was pronounced dead at the scene, after suffering multiple stab wounds.

Another 20-year-old man who was found at the scene with stab wounds was taken to hospital and recovered.

Daniel Lena was among three men who were charged for the murder of Steven, and will appear in court later this month.
